2 killed, 9 hurt in Kailali bus accident.

At least two persons died whereas nine others sustained injuries in a bus accident in Sahajpur of Kailali district in the wee hours of Friday.

The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 1691) en route to Dhangadhi of Kailali from Dipayal of Doti had fallen around 200 metres down the road in Marbhatti, Sahajpur-9 of the district after 1 am today.The deceased have been identified as Yogendra Bahadur BK and CB Luhar, both residents of Basudev VDC-1 of Doti, according to Inspector Dan Bahadur Rokaya, chief of Phaltude Area Police Office, Kailali.

Similarly, two persons, identified as driver Sher Bahadur Kadayat (28) and  Mahabir Kadayat (35), both residents of  Attariya Municipality-4, have sustained critical injures and they have been referred to Bareli, India for treatment.

Other injured are being treated at Padma Hospital, Attariya.
